Zach's journey began when he personally experienced the frustration of dealing with post-workout odor and dampness with his own activewear. Determined to find a solution, he embarked on a mission to create a product that would revolutionize the way active individuals manage their post-workout clothing.
What do you do with your sweaty post-workout clothes? If you’re like the majority of people, including us, who are dedicated to an active lifestyle, you hang your clothes over a surface, throw them on your garage floor, or immediately start a load of laundry after your workout. We were tired of the problems all of these behaviors present. Tired of smelling our clothes as they hung. Tired of having to start a load of laundry. Tired of having nowhere to place our post-workout clothes! So we set out to create a solution for this very common problem. After many prototypes and many months of trials by friends and family we have created The Active Hamper!
The Active Hamper is a patent pending product comprised of 3 parts: an injection molded hamper made from recyclable plastic that contains three compartments at it’s base. Those compartments house a dehumidification and deodorization bucket to assist in drying as well as odor control. Lastly, The Active Hamper system includes a nylon/spandex insert. Nylon, as a “highly mildew resistant” fabric, is ideal for your active, sweaty clothes. Both inserts also come with care tags and are, obviously, washable. And the dehumidification/deodorization buckets are available as a subscription.
